“Psychotherapy is the attempt of two people to recover the wholeness of being human through the relationship between them”
R D Laing
Matthew Hunt – Psychotherapeutic Practitioner (in advanced clinical training at the Metanoia Institute, London)

I often work with people who are used to coping on their own, but are finding that something isn’t shifting. As people we can find ourselves unsure how to move forward, even if we know something needs to change. In many cases, this isn’t just about the problem itself, but about trying to face it alone.
Without a space for real, honest connection it can be hard to make sense of things or take meaningful steps forward. I offer a calm, confidential space where you can explore what’s going on for you, with both support and thoughtful challenge. Choosing to share our inner world of thoughts and feelings with another person is extremely brave and I deeply respect the honour of anyone who chooses to work with me.
I am in advanced clinical training to become a Transactional Analyst at the Metanoia Institute, a specialist institute for psychotherapy training.
I charge £45 per individual therapy session and £50 for couples. I work from a calm and private space in Boscombe.
